Lufthansa Airlines allows passengers to proceed to online check-in if they don't; want to wait in the check-in queue at the airport. The online check-in helps them save a lot of time, and they don't even have to visit the airport 2 3 hours before departure. Lufthansa online check-in policy
- If the passengers proceed for online check-in, they need to get their boarding pass printed before proceeding to the airport. The airline will also send their boarding pass to the registered email address and phone number. The passengers have to drop off their baggage while arriving at the airport. - The web check-in process starts 23 hours before the scheduled departure of the airline. If the passengers choose their seats and request any special assistance, they have to pay the charges for the same before they process to get their boarding pass.
- If the traveler completes the online check-in, they have done 90% of their work. Now they need to print their boarding pass before they visit the Lufthansa Check-in counter at the airport and drop off their luggage. Now, the airline has to accept the baggage and move toward the security checkpoint.
- Unaccompanied minors or passengers with visual or hearing impairments cannot proceed with the online check-in. They have to visit the airport to complete the process of check-in. If the passengers have requested a wheelchair, stretcher, or other special services, they can also proceed to the check-in at the airport only.

- Visit the official website of Lufthansa Airlines and look for the option of 'Manage Booking.'
- Once you get onto the manage booking, choose the option of Lufthansa online check-in from the drop-down menu.
- Enter the Six digit booking code and the passenger's surname to proceed.
- Select the seats and add the option of checked baggage to your reservation. You can also add the special request for special assistance, i.e., wheelchair, extra legroom seats, and more, at the time of the Lufthansa web check-in request.
- Once the check-in process is complete, you'll receive the boarding pass on your screen and your registered email.
